Breakfast today was a rushed affair so I could get to the pool for my distance swim.

- agave nectar
- banana
It gave me just the right amount of energy to do my 2000 yard swim!
Lunch was leftover honey-mustard chicken breast and avocado. It totally hit the spot after a great morning workout.
This evening my husband and I had dinner out at our local gluten-free restaurant. I learned that the local Celiac Disease support group members frequent there quite often so we figured we would try it out! It’s called Rock Da Pasta in New Paltz, NY. Almost everything on their menu can be made gluten-free. I ordered the Overnite Sensation which was “A Zappa tribute of sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, roasted red pepper, fennel, broccoli & chicken tossed with a creamy cilantro pesto alfredo and bowtie pasta. Topped with spicy bacon.”
Yum!
My husband had the David Bowtie Seafood Alfredo that he really liked as well.
We couldn’t leave without ordering their gluten-free tie-dye cheesecake for later (it didn’t last very long)!
Do you have gluten free options at local restaurants? How did you find out about them?
